Important: All chat room conversations are public and visible to any authenticated user of the platform. Do not share sensitive personal information in chat rooms.

5.3 Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our Service and comply with legal obligations. When you delete your account:

  • Your profile and personal data are permanently deleted within 30 days
  • Chat messages remain visible in the community as they are public conversations, but your account association is removed
  • Marketplace listings are removed immediately
  • Some data may be retained longer for legal, safety, or fraud prevention reasons
Chat Message Retention: Since all chat conversations are public community discussions, messages may remain visible even after account deletion to maintain conversation continuity for other users.

6. Third-Party Services and Integrations

6.1 Firebase (Google)

We use Firebase for all our backend services, including:

  • Database storage for user profiles, chat messages, and marketplace listings
  • Real-time features for chat and community updates
  • Cloud storage for user-uploaded images and content

All user data is stored in Firebase's secure database infrastructure. Firebase's privacy practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

6.2 Rate Information

Our earnings calculator uses publicly available NYC TLC rate information. We access this data from public sources and do not maintain direct connections with TLC systems or databases.

6.3 Analytics Services

We use analytics services to understand how drivers use our platform:

7. International Data Transfers

TLC Drivers Hub is intended for professional drivers who must be at least 18 years old to hold a NYC TLC license. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

  • Users are individually responsible for their regulatory compliance
